Hurricane Rita ruled the Markets this week sending Oil to a high of $67.39 a barrel but ending the week up $1.19 at $64.19 a barrel.

Oil was down and Markets were up. Oil fell from $67.57 per barrel to $64.08 and the yield on the 10-year note rose from 4.03% to 4.12%. It is widely assumed that the FED will raise again at the upcoming meeting. This week only the Nasdaq failed to rise 2% or more.

This past week was lazy and downward trending for the markets with oil spiking to new record highs. Oil rose from $65.79 a barrel to $66.13 a barrel. I’m hoping the markets can find a bottom. I think somewhere around S&P 500 1190.00 to 1200.00 range
