GOOG Earnings Report
11 January 2007Just wanted to let you all know that GOOG - Google, Inc. will report earnings after the close on Wednesday, January 31, 2007.
If you didn’t see the earlier post giving AAPL - Apple, Inc. earnings date, it will be next Wednesday, January 17, 2007 after the close.
Both stocks are in my portfolio now. Today AAPL seems […]
AAPL - Apple, Inc. Closes at Record High
10 January 2007Today AAPL - Apple, Inc. closed at a record high of $97.00 with an intraday high of $97.80. My next target for them is $120 which I think they could hit during this quarter. I also think they will announce a stock split sometime after their next earnings announcement which is scheduled for next Wednesday, […]
Cisco Sues AAPL - Apple, Inc.
10 January 2007Today Cisco sued Apple after they failed to make an agreement with them on use of “iPhone” yesterday. That’s probably why they are down $0.70 in after-hours trade.
Personally, I’d use some other tricky name and let them deal with the fact that they don’t have or sell the Apple product.

APPL and GOOG
9 January 2007Looks like AAPL - Apple, Inc. (they have now dropped “Computer” from the company name) has went with Yahoo! for search on the iPhone. And yes it is “iPhone” as they will have an agreement with Cisco on the name.
GOOG still seems to be trading okay, not much of an impact for them I guess.
AAPL - Apple Computer Inc. Announces iPhone
9 January 2007Apple announces iPhone . Steve Jobs says………….

“These are not three separate devices,” said Jobs. “This is one device. And we […]
The Importance of Saving
6 January 2007I was reading the AARP Bulletin today and in the back they have a ditty on “The Power of 50″, as in the power of a $50 dollar bill and how time erodes its value through inflation if not put someplace where it can grow.
They say a 1957 $50 dollar bill is worth $6.58 today […]
Seahawks 21, Cowboys 20
6 January 2007It was a squeeker and it wasn’t pretty (for either side), but our Seattle Seahawks win against the Dallas Cowboys. End of story.
Guess I’ll work on something more related to investing now.
Update On Portfolio Change
5 January 2007This morning I took a small position in AAPL at $85.40 from a limit trade I set last night. But AAPL has slid a lot lower and is currently trading at $84.57. With the anticipation of an annoucement next week by Steve Jobs of iTV or maybe an iPhone I am going to stave off […]
Wrong Day, Wrong Time
4 January 2007Man did I pick the wrong day to re-proportion my portfolio. AAPL, GOOG and VZ were all up pretty good by the time I looked this morning. So I did what I usually do. Look for a pullback, which didn’t happen. So by the end of the day GOOG is up +3.35%, AAPL is […]
