House Votes In Favor of $146 Billion Economic Stimulus Package
29 January 2008The House everwhelmingly approves a $146 billion economic stimulus plan backed by President Bush. The plan includes tax rebates of up to $600 for individuals and $1,200 for married couples plus another $300 per child. The legislation also includes business tax breaks to encourage investment in new equipment.
