Apple Gives Existing iPhone Customers $100
6 September 2007A few minutes ago Apple announced that it will give all existing iPhone customers a $100 store credit. Jobs says he received hundreds of emails and decided this was the right thing to do. He also believes that dropping the iPhone price from $599 to $399 is the right thing to do too. My screen shows that AAPL was not trading for a short while and is now trading down a couple of dollars after the news release.
If anyone cares, I also think that it is the right thing to do (on both accounts).
