A Downer Sort of Day

17 January 2007

Well on my screen, pretty much everything closed down today, all except my mutual fund (PVADX) which somehow managed to close up a nickle at 31.35.

Apple reported excellent earnings numbers after the close and was briefly flying high at $99.00 until word got out that they guided Q2 down a bit. Last I looked they were at $94.10 in After-Hours. GOOG also lost a bit today and was at $497.30 in After-Hours trade.

Guess I’ll decide in the morning what I will do with my AAPL shares in the short term. Long term I am a big fan. Right now I am up about 10% with the latest postion.
