CPII - CPI International, Inc. priced today (04/28/06) at $18.00 (top of its initial $16-18 range) and opened at $19.10. Its current share price is $18.00, unchanged. CPI International manufactures broadcast and wireless components, such as satellite communications transmitters, amplifiers, sensors, X-ray equipment, power supplies, transmitters, and microwave components. The firms radio-frequency (RF) and microwave components go into civilian communications equipment, industrial gear, medical systems, scientific instruments and a lot of military hardware (nearly half of sales).
