The Weekly Wrap: Friday, August 19, 2005
19 August 2005Well its been Home, Home on the Range, as in “Range Bound Markets”. This week as the S&P 500 went down through 1227 I closed out all positions except ADSK - Autodesk, Inc. as I thought they wouldn’t disappoint at earnings on Thursday (and they didn’t). So now when the right time arrives I will have to re-establish new positions (possibly FCL, RAIL and something besides QQQQ). I did lock in some nice gains though. Now its up to the markets. There are several good looking stocks in the UltraValue list and I will post some possiblities later. Oh, I also closed PVADX in my 401k account. It happens to be the most volatile fund (a small cap fund) in all the options I currently have available and has performed well.
