The Weekly Wrap: Friday, February 25, 2005
25 February 2005A shortened week started off bad on Tuesday putting in a down day. However the rest of the week was up, closing the week higher. Even with oil closing Friday at $51.49. The S&P 500 Index is now basically unchanged for the year. Steel, materials, and energy stocks had another good week. Next week we enter March which is typically warnings season ahead of first quarter earnings reports. Can the markets push higher? Unless you can see the future, guess we will have to wait until next Friday.
