ECA - EnCana Corporation Announces Stock Split

Today (2/23/05) ECA - EnCana Corporation announced a 2 for 1 stock split expected to be payable on or about May 20, 2005. The company will seek shareholder approval of the split at the annual meeting scheduled for April 27. It’s current share price is $65.42 (2:10PM ET, up $0.79).
