FOMC Meeting Tomorrow

The Federal Open Market Committee meets on Tuesday to discuss monetary policy where they are expected to increase the fed funds rate 25 basis points. The fed fund futures is also pricing in a 99% probability of another 25 basis point increase at the February 12, 2005 FOMC meeting. A 25 basis point increase in February would bring the rate to 2.50%.
