New High Stock Picks
31 August 2004After posting the article today on picking stocks from the new 52 week highs list, I set off to find a few stocks that met the requirements. The plan is to check back in a month or so and then again at about options expiration in October.
Using the formula for new high stock picks, I quickly came up with the stocks listed below. Note that two of the stocks share price is greater than 10% above the price at their last earnings report and one is actually 2.8% less than when they last reported earnings. All stocks are very near their all-time highs. One of the stocks, BLKB is a recent IPO with one earnings report under its belt. Also, AMWD announced a 2:1 stock split today.

AMWD - American Woodmark Corporation
67.30, dwn 2.8% - reported at 69.22 on 8/26/04 - 11/19/03
